Girls Hostel

1. Hostel Facility is available in the college premises .In the admission to the hostel,preference is given to the meritorious students, candicates coming from far-flung areas and those belonging to beckward classes and backward areas. The hostel is under the supervision of the warden who is a senior staff member of the college . she acts as the guardian of all the inmates of the hostel
2. Student desiring admission to the hostel must apply on the proper application form,which can be had from the hostel warden,free of cost.The applications shall be properly scrutinized and the candidate shall be interviewed by hostel admission committe. Selected candidate shall have to pay the dues in full before they report to the ward. No one shall be admitted before completing all the necessary formalities. No hosteller shall be allowed to remain in the hostel if her monthly dues are not paid within 15 days from the scheduled date unless explicit by permitted by the principal.
3. Resident students will be required to sign receiptfor items of furniture and other things issued to them. They will be responsible for any damage for the items issued to them. They will be responsible for any damage done to doors, window glass, panes, furniture fittings and other hostel property in the room.while leaving the hostel at the end of the term each student should handover the charge of furniture of his room to the hostel warden
4. The hostel mess is run by a contractor and managed by the mess committee comprising of student.
5. Mess charges must be cleared by the 10th of each month failing which the hostellers will have to pay a fine of Rs.20/- per day up to 15th of every month. after that the hosteller will not be served any meals unless specially allowed by the warden
6. The hostel gates are opened at 5:00 A.M. In summer and at 6:30 A.M. In winter and are closed at 8:00 P.M. In summer and at 7:30 P.M.In winter.Gates shall not be opened during the night expect in the case of an emergency.
7. No guests/relatives of hosteller are allowed to reside in the hostel premises. Visitors are not allowed to enter the hostel room. They are allowed only in the visitor's lounge. If this rule is violated the boarder is liable to fined or expelled from the hostel.
8. The hostellers are responsible for the safety of the belonging. During vacation and when on long leave,they shall remove all personal belongings, failing which they liable to be fined and such articles as are left in the premises may be confiscated.
9. No hosteller is allowed any amusement, which is likely to disturb other hostellers
10. Playing indoor games in the Hostel quadrangleis prohibited. Hostellers violating this rule are liable to be punished.
11. Ragging in the hostel is strictly prohibited. Any student of the Hostel indulging in ragging is liable to be expelled from the Hostel.
12. If a hosteller is asked to vacate the hostel room on disciplinary or administrative ground, she shall have to do so immediately, failing which the warden is authorized to remove the belongings of the Hosteller
13. Any refundable dues shall be released only after all due payments have been made by the boarders. The claim for such refunds should be made by the boader. The claim for such refunds shuid be made within only year from the date of leaving the hostel
14. The colleges authorities reserve the right to alter,amend or modiffy any of the existing ruels without prior notice.Decision of the principle in all maters shall be final binding.
